Pesticides application (spraying) training for units Pa1,PA2,PA3,PA6,PA9, PAGR at East Malling Short Courses

Anyone who uses a professional pesticide product in the course of their business or employment may not use that pesticide or give instruction to others on their use unless they have received adequate instruction, training and guidance in their correct use. Further information regarding legislation can be found here.

All users of professional products require a recognised certificate such as PA1 Foundation Module and at least one application module, for example PA6 Hand Held Applicator or PA2 Ground Crop Sprayer, or for people who have previously had ‘Grandfather Rights’ a PAGR certificate.

    What Does This Course Offer?

    It gives you the practical skills and understanding required to prepare a person to be assessed for the City & Guilds qualification.

    Background

    This course is aimed at people needing the legislative qualification for installing pesticide plugs into tree stumps. It is designed to help people to successfully prepare for their City & Guilds assessment. The course is one day in duration, with attendance required for the practical assessment on another day following the course. The assessment will take up to one and a half hours.

    Entry Requirements

    Candidates must have successfully achieved their PA1 assessment prior to being assessed for PA6PP.
