Assessment Type: 1/2 day practical independent or integrated assessment
(The cost of the assessment is included in the cost of the course)

This qualification will enable you to prove your expertise in using a pole pruner. and show your ability to meet licence-to-practise standards.

This training will cover:

  • Being able to work Safely.
  • Being able to use a powered pole pruner.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and industry good practice.
  • Knowledge of how to use a powered pole pruner.

You will be required to provide your own PPE and equipment. Please ensure that each item is in a good state of repair and meets current British Safety approved standards.

Please ensure you wear suitable outdoor clothing appropriate to the training and the weather conditions.

Please bring with you drinks and lunch for the day.

You will need to supply:

  • Powered Pole pruner
  • Fuel
  • Protective footwear
  • Tough non snag work trousers
  • Work gloves
  • British safety standard helmet with ear defenders and visor
  • Non snag upper body clothing
  • A personal first aid kit
  • A whistle
